Creepers or New Friends?

On a morning of a sunny Kingston day, I went back to my hotel room after having my coffee outside☀️☕️ I got a call on WhatsApp from an unknown number… I didn’t answer! 📲 A minute after, I got a call to my hotel room landline (yeah the one that I thought it doesn’t work based on the manufacturing year!)☎️ I hesitated to answer and by the time I was mentally ready to pick it up.. the call dropped!
And by now, I think you can imagine how I felt especially when I was alone in my quiet room.. but two seconds later when someone started knocking on the door🚪

I jumped and instantly thought what kind of a sick TV show is this as I looked around my room! 📺 I opened the door slowly, and I saw the maid with a big smile on her face 😃 I was terrified because this was the same one who frowns every time she sees me because of.. ugh that’s another long story! But when I opened the door, she said Mr. (insert fancy name here) would like to talk to you!! 🧐 I was confused as I asked her “Mr. who? Who’s that?!” and she said with a creepy smile “he’s one of the owners” 🛎

In my mind, I thought that it must be someone I know but somehow forgot to mention what they do for a living! 💭 So, I didn’t mind and followed her into the reception.. and what I found was another phone call waiting for me to invite me for lunch and talk business the next day!! 👩🏻‍💻 and this was me the day after when I was given a short tour of Port Royal after a nice meal, good conversation and a new 87 years old friend 👑
