Public Transportation to Kingston, Jamaica?

This picture was taken when we got stranded in the middle of the highway on our way to Kingston using the public bus 🚌🛣 Me and two other friends wanted to head to Kingston to attend the Bob Marley’s birthday concert for one-day at his museum🎂 We wanted to take the cheapest way to get there to leave enough in the budget to enjoy the other things Jamaica had to offer and stay longer in the country 💵

One friend had a large suitcase and she decided to jump in a last-minute ride with a private car to avoid getting charged for the luggage (large luggage is treated like regular passengers lol) 🧳

Me and the other friend decided to take the public bus because we were traveling with backpacks 🎒but, what we didn’t expect was an argument with the bus driver overfilling the bus with passengers double the number of seats in the bus itself💺 we decided just to suck it up until we get to Kingston 🇯🇲 but half-way through the trip, one of the tires popped in the middle of the highway and the bus driver didn’t have the equipment to replace it!! 🛠

Many said that that was karma, because the way the argument started at the beginning, was that he wanted more people to sit in my seat because I was a (skinny female!) and just get paid twice for the same seat!! 🤑 After two hours or so on the highway, I was merely enjoying the lovely view until we got back up and the police showed up for help! 🚔
